Sole E95 Elliptical Review – Highlights:

The E95 Elliptical is one of Sole’s premium home elliptical trainers. It easily competes with other ellipticals in the $2000 price range in terms of stability and design.

In fact, this particular model was rated a “Best Buy” by both the Fitness Official and FitRated. It’s not hard to see why – it’s a great blend of premium construction with several entertainment features to spice up your workout time.

One of the best features of the Sole E95 is the 2 degree inward angle on the footpedals that you don’t find on other brands. This was designed with the help of a physiotherapist to put the user’s body in a more correct alignment.

The inward angle slope more closely mimics your body’s actual running motion – reducing the strain on your joints and hips. This is something you’ll really notice after longer workouts.

The E95 also comes with Sole’s thick, heavy duty steel frame designed for higher user weight capacity machines. This helps gives you a stable, solid feel, even when you pick up your pace and really work the elliptical.

Articulating Footpedals Add Even More Comfort

This is another feature that sets Sole apart. The Sole E95 comes with cushioned and adjustable, articulating footpedals.

There are actually 10 different footpedal settings so you can find the most comfortable fit for you. This also helps to reduce the toe numbness that can be common with long elliptical workouts.

Sole E95 Elliptical  Review – Console:

The console itself is large and well laid out. At 10-inches across it’s one of the largest console windows that Sole makes – making it easy to read your stats.

It also includes a built-in cooling fan and a music port with speakers so you can play your favorite tunes as you workout.

There are easy quick-adjustment buttons and an easy to reach water bottle holder. There are also 10 different built-in workouts you can access from the console based on things like heart rate, fat burn and more.

Plus, Sole recently added a tablet holder above the console. So you can add your tablet or phone and watch shows or Youtube videos as you workout.

And you never have to worry about your tablet running out or power – there’s a charging port in the elliptical console.

More Ways To Challenge Yourself – Power Incline

Incline changes the slope of your elliptical pathway, letting you work different sets of muscle groups. This is the ultimate way to crosstrain for many people as it continually challenges your body.

The Sole E95 gives you from 1 to 20 levels of incline that you adjust from the console. You can also adjust it from the controls on your moving arm bars – so you don’t have to reach up to the console to do it.

This is particularly handy since the other Sole model – the E95S model does not have incline. So it’s a nice feature to find on the E95 model.

You can also easily track your heart rate to stay in your target fat-burning zone. There are hand sensors in front of the console. The elliptical will also work with a wireless heart rate monitor (not included).

Sole E95 Elliptical Review – Bluetooth Now Added:

Sole has finally jumped on the bandwagon this year and included Bluetooth tracking capability on most of their ellipticals – including the Sole E95.

You can track and transfer your workout date from your elliptical to your smart device. You can use the free Sole app. It’s also compatible with Fitbit, Record, Mapmyrun or Apple Health.

Sole E95 Elliptical Review –  Any Downsides?

The Sole E95 does fall down a bit in terms of console. The console is a bit simple compared to other brands that are giving you full-color touch screens and streaming programs.

Still, it’s easy to navigate and not everyone wants a super-fancy console.

Also, while the stride is advertised as “adjustable”, it’s not really adjustable by just pressing a button. You have to change the level of incline in order to move the stride length from 20 to 22 inches. Not a deal breaker – but still worth knowing

Where to Buy and Save:

Sole updated their ellipticals – including the Sole E95 model for this year to add the new Bluetooth tracking. You can buy the new Sole E95 model directly from the Manufacturer here and get the Free tablet holder included with your purchase.
