4 Great Elliptical Trainers In Stock Right Now
Trying to buy a home elliptical trainer but can’t seem to find anything in stock?
With the current Covid situation and gyms closed all over the country, many people have naturally taken to buying home fitness equipment online.
This, along with the manufacturing and parts delays all over the world, has resulted in many online elliptical retailers being out of stock.
Many popular retailers now have no popular models left in stock – or they have to push back deliveries for months.
What can you do?
Well, this post will list several quality elliptical models you can consider that are in stock right now (as of this writing – things can change at any time). So let’s dive in:
Best Elliptical Trainers In Stock Right Now:
#1 Nordictrack FS7i Freestrider
[ Full Review ]
This is one of the most popular Freestride ellipticals – and the most affordable model.

While delivery has been pushed back – as of this writing delivery has only been pushed back about a week – not bad compared to models that have been pushed back for a month or more.
The Freestride Trainer is an adjustable-stride elliptical where you can choose your own stride of up to 32 inches. You can do short, up-and-down stair-climbing strides, longer jogging strides or even longer running-type strides.
So you get a lot of workout variety with this machine.
And since you can choose your own stride, it’s a great choice for families as everyone can choose the stride that feels best for them.
With the FS7i, you also get a full-color, HD touch-screen console where you can stream iFit in-studio workouts to your home. So you can stream a new workout class to your home every day.

Or run iFit trails all over the world and explore different corners of the globe – from Thailand to Greece to Switzerland.
Overall this is one of the best elliptical trainers in terms of variety and entertainment that’s available for order right now.

#2 Proform HIIT H14
[ Full Review ]
This is a newer Proform HIIT elliptical model and a lot of people don’t know about it yet. So you can actually buy it today and get it shipped fairly quickly (as of this writing).

The Proform HIIT trainer is a bit different – it’s a vertical, climbing elliptical vs a standard flat-running-surface elliptical.
The benefit? You engage more lower body muscles and burn calories faster on this machine vs a regular elliptical.
The H14 also comes with another bonus – a huge 14-inch, HD, touch-screen. You can stream workout classes and world trail runs to your console for some extra training fun.

And the multiple-position arm bars also give you several ways to crosstrain your upper body.
Overall, if you’re looking for a “regular elliptical”, this isn’t the machine for you. But if you want something that can burn calories faster and really challenge you to go further, this is a fantastic choice.

#3 Horizon 7.0 AE Elliptical
[ Full Review ]
The Horizon 7.0 AE elliptical is another great machine that doesn’t get a lot of fanfare – and it’s available for shipping right now.
It’s actually the most advanced elliptical that Horizon makes – and it comes in for a fantastic price. You get up to 20 levels of incline for better crosstraining and a heavier 23-pound flywheel for a more stable feel.

While the console is a bit small and simple on this model, you can connect to the free Horizon app with your tablet and control the machine from that. It’s kind of like adding a bigger console to the machine with your tablet.
Plus with the media shelf and Bluetooth speakers on this trainer, you can attach your tablet and watch Netflix or other streaming fitness programs as you run on this trainer.

The low step-on height of 10 inches from the floor is also a benefit if you have a low ceiling height in your basement and you’re looking for a lower-built elliptical that will fit the space.
Overall, it’s not a commercial grade machine. But it is good value coming in at a fantastic price from a strong brand name.

#4 Proform Carbon EL
This is another new one from Proform that not a lot of people know about – so it’s available to ship right now.

It’s a starter machine – and the most affordable elliptical on this list, coming in at $799 plus Free Shipping here.
While the console is pretty simple – you do get a media shelf. So you can attach your tablet and surf the net or watch Netflix or Youtube videos as you run.
You can also connect with iFit through your tablet and run trails all over the world or take a fitness class from your elliptical. (You’ll also see a better display of your workout stats this way).

You get a decent 19-inch stride, which is pretty generous for a starter machine and up to 18 levels of resistance for more of a challenge.
Pus this model comes with up to 20 degrees of manual incline. So you can change the slope of your running path and get a bit of added crosstraining.
Overall, it’s a simpler machine – but it comes in for a great price and you do get the option to add on some impressive workout options.

So those are 4 great elliptical options that are on sale and ready to ship right now.
Again, that’s only as of this writing as manufacturers are selling out of everything very quickly.
According to the manufacturers I’ve talked to, they’re also having problems getting parts for manufacturing and design because of Covid delays. They’re also having to pay a lot higher fees to get parts shipped out. I don’t think anyone can really say how long these delays will last – or if any new models will even come out this year (as they usually do around September-October).
Hopefully, if you’re in the market for a quality home elliptical, you can find something you like that’s still in stock.
Or be patient and wait – manufacturers are scrambling to try and service the orders and I know they’re working on getting more stock for the Christmas season. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
